The goods and services shown below are those we provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff and Overhead.

If legal or other requirements require the purchase of items you did not specifically request, the reason will be explained in writing on the statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Professional Services

Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff & Overhead

$2,595

This fee will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select and includes, but is not limited to:

  • 24/7 response to initial request for service

  • Arrangement conference with family or responsible party

  • Preparation and filing of authorizations and permits

  • Recording vital statistics

  • Preparation and placement of obituary notices

  • Staff assistance before, during, and after services

This fee also covers overhead expenses including insurance, wages and benefits, maintenance, utilities, administrative costs, equipment, and inventory.

This fee is already included in charges for direct cremation, immediate burial, forwarding remains, and receiving remains.

Preparation of the Deceased

  • Embalming – $875
    Not required by law except in special cases.

  • Other Preparation of Deceased – $375
    (Dressing, casketing, hair styling, cosmetics)

  • Embalming of Autopsied Remains (Additional) – $400

  • Restoration – $225 per hour

  • Refrigeration – $200 initial / $75 per day
    Required for all un-embalmed remains.

Cremation

  • Cremation – $500

Visitation & Services

Visitation

  • Standard Visitation (2–4 hours) – $475
    Additional time: $100 per hour

  • One Hour Prior to Services – $350

Ceremonies

  • Funeral Service – $575

  • Memorial Service – $425

Graveside Services

  • Casketed Remains – $525

  • Cremated Remains – $375

Weekend & Holiday Service Charges

Forwarding & Receiving Remains

  • Forwarding Remains to Another Funeral Home – $2,870
    (Includes embalming, air tray, transportation to airport)

  • Receiving Remains from Another Funeral Home – $2,095

Immediate Burial / Green Burial

  • Casket Provided by Purchaser – $2,540

  • Casket Selected from Funeral Home – $2,540 + casket cost

Includes transfer of remains, shelter, transportation to cemetery, basic services, and authorizations.

Donation to Medical School

  • Donation Services – $1,495
    Includes transfer, shelter, refrigeration, coordination, and documentation.

Transportation

  • Transfer of Remains to Funeral Home – $300

  • Additional Person Required for Removal – $100

  • Hearse – $275

  • Lead Vehicle – $250

  • Drop Off / Pick Up – $300
    After-hours (8pm–8am): + $100
    Additional personnel: + $100 per person

  • Mileage Beyond 20 Miles – $2.50 per mile

  • Eau Claire County Medical Examiner Fee – $131.03
